The Oasis

Thanks to priest Peter Gombita, Oasis became home to app. 350 homeless people. During communism, it used to be city garden but nowadays it looks like a location from post dystopian movie. Slowly but surely, it changes and every client who stays there can help with gardening, farming or other duties. Some people stay a week, some stay for years. Hangar is the place where even the poorest take refuge.

freelance photographer
I have been working on long term documentary projects for many years but most of my work ends up unpublished or as we say "in a drawer". So rather than calling myself a freelance photographer, I'd rather call myself a storyteller with full drawer. Tibor Huszár used to say that photographers need 10 years to realise what they're doing. I feel that after 20 years, I'm ready to open up my drawer.
